Ronda 'Granny' Monaghan
The matriarch of our family, bringing us together in a warm, patient, unassuming way. Organised to a tee, preparing quietly before gatherings.
Your preparation of the Christmas pudding and your Christmas cakes was truly special. Christmas isn't the same. With gold coins in the pudding too.
Part of your journey was mapping out your family tree and supporting our family to remain connected. I aim to continue to add to our family connections, centred around our Monaghan name. Technology will help us to build on learning about each family member through journal entries, such as this one and interviews, focusing on how we are interconnected and how parts of us are present across generations. Connections don't always flow from one generation to the next, they can cross over in unexpected ways.
If only I started this when you were with us.
